What is collected, and why

Suggestion cards: clicking a card offered by the chat displays a pre-written answer, recorded in advance. It is not sent to any AI provider: text and audio stay on this site. In voice mode, that answer is read from a pre-recorded audio file (Anthony Dalin's cloned voice).

Free-text question typed in the chat: when your question does not match any card, it is sent to Google's Gemini API, on its free tier. The terms of that tier allow Google to have your exchanges reviewed by people and to use them to improve its products; they recommend not entering sensitive, confidential or personal information (Gemini API terms of service, section “Unpaid Services”). The question and the answer are kept for 12 months, to improve the site's knowledge base. Your IP address is never stored in clear text (pseudonymised fingerprint, used only to rate-limit the service). In voice mode, the answer is then read aloud by speech synthesis (VoiceBud, on Modal infrastructure).

Email left voluntarily: kept for 24 months, solely so that Anthony Dalin can get back to you. Documents shared through the “+” button: stored for 12 months in a private space, accessible only to Anthony Dalin.

“Talk with Anthony” form: a Tally form, whose data is hosted on servers located in the European Union (company based in Belgium — see Tally's privacy policy). Your answers are passed to Tally, then to Anthony Dalin's request-handling system (GTR, a company in the process of being set up), which sends you an acknowledgement and arranges the call back.

No data is sold or shared for commercial purposes. The site and its database are hosted in the European Union (Vercel, Neon).

Cookies and local storage

The site loads no third-party tracker. Your browser keeps your preferences locally (language, theme, conversation history, question counter) — this data never leaves your device. A technical cookie remembers the language inferred from your country of connection. A consent cookie is set if audience measurement is ever switched on; it is not today.

One last technical cookie carries the day's question counter: a randomly drawn, signed number, with no link to your identity, your device or your browser. Its only purpose is to avoid counting you together with the other people who share your IP address — which systematically happens on mobile networks. It is readable only by the server, expires after 30 days, and does not follow you on any other site.

Google sign-in (optional)

If you choose to sign in with your Google account, your first name, your email and your profile picture are kept only in your browser, to personalise the welcome and pre-fill your emails. Nothing is sent to our servers. You can erase this data at any time by clearing the site's storage.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure: write to anthony@anthonydalin.com. Deletion is carried out within 30 days across all data concerning you (questions, email left, documents).
